The inspiration and authority of the Bible.
Consequently we aim to have lively and relevant worship, with Christ at the centre, the Holy Spirit empowering and with the teaching of the Bible at its base.
If you visit us you will find the atmosphere is friendly and informal.
Children are welcome to come and participate.
We have a creche and Sunday school for pre-school and primary age children.
In the worship you will find mostly modern music, although some traditional hymns and choruses are used.
Our aim is to express praise and worship to Jesus in an
environment which will be inspiring to the Christian without being threatening to anyone “testing the waters”
Leadership
OHCC is overseen by a Church Leadership Team, which includes our new part time Pastor, Mike Dawson. Mike is a retired Church of Scotland minister (previously of Holy Trinity, Wester Hailes). He and Penny have been part of OHCC for the past few years and he is giving his time to help take us on to the next stage of development in the church. The other Church Leaders are Eddie Williamson, Jim Dornan, Alison Ogden-Quin and Graham Silk.
